Graduate Student Paper Contest
The Society for
Computational Economics sponsors a contest for outstanding
graduate student papers.
We are soliciting
student papers with a strong computational component, in any branch of
economics, finance, and decision making for the award of the SCE 2009 Student
Prize. Papers entered in this contest must also be submitted through
Conference Maker by January 31, 2009.
The recipient(s)
of the student prize will receive a cash award. The award of the prize is
conditional on the presence of the prize recipients at the CEF2009 meeting. That
is, the recipient must be registered and present the paper in order to compete.
The jury reserves the right not to award the prize if it considers that none of
the submitted papers is of sufficient quality, or to award several prizes. A
maximum of US$3000 will be given for up to three prizes.
Applications for
the student prize must include the full paper. This should be sent by e-mail in
